General Return Instructions

  1. Return everything in its original condition
    1. For a complete refund, items must be in original condition, show no signs of wear, and be received back within 30 days from date of shipment. Please be careful because jewelry, belt buckles, snaps and zippers can easily scratch instruments.
    2. Include all original packaging, accessories (e.g. power adapters, mouthpieces, etc.), and paperwork (e.g. owner's manual, warranty card, etc.).
    3. Include a copy of the packing list. Clearly indicate your reason for returning.

  2. Do not write on the original box, manual or warranty!
    1. Please do not write on the manufacturer's box, manual, or warranty card until certain you will keep this purchase.
    2. Write your R.A. Number on the outside shipping box, NOT on the manufacturer's box.

  3. Repack and double box using clear tape ONLY!
    1. Reseal the manufacturer's box with CLEAR tape only.
    2. You are responsible for merchandise until it safely reaches our warehouse. To protect your return, double box your shipment to prevent damage, using all original packing materials.
    3. Write the R.A. Number on the outside shipping box, NOT on the manufacturer's box.

  4. Insure package and save the tracking number!
    1. Insure the return for the full value of your purchase.
    2. Ship your items back with a trackable service like FedEx or UPS. We are not responsible if your return merchandise gets lost in the mail.

  5. Allow 2 weeks for return processing!
    1. Returns take approximately two weeks to clean and process.
    2. Credit card purchases are credited back to the original credit card.
    3. All other purchases are refunded by company check.

Returning items in

  1. Contact us within 30 days for a Return Authorization number.
    1. Call or contact us via email within 30 days of receipt for an R.A. Number.
    2. We are available at: 1-888-999-2365. We have a 24 hour voice mail service for your convience.
    3. To avoid a restocking fee, please follow all packing and shipping instructions listed in the "General Return Instructions" section.

  2. Cleaning and sterilization fees.
    1. $5.00 for each woodwind or brasswind instrument that is returned.
      ($20 for each instrument priced over $3000)
    2. $3.50 for each mouthpiece or bow that is returned.
      ($7.50 for each mouthpiece priced over $300)

  3. Store Credit Only merchandise.
    1. Microphones, Wireless products and Recording equipment, including Multi-track, Hard Disk, DAT, CD, Tape Recorders and Duplicators are returnable for Store Credit only.
    2. Upon return, these items are checked thoroughly. Those found to have excessive use time or head wear will be charged a minimum restocking fee of 15%.
    3. Other store credit only items are indicated on the web site.

  4. Non-Returnable merchandise.
    1. Copy-protected material: Sheet music, Books, Videos, Software, Sample Libraries, and CD-ROM's.
    2. Recording media: Cassettes, Reels, or DAT tapse, and Mini-discs, Zip disc or CDRs.
    3. Disposable products: Drumheads, Drumsticks, Cleaning Supplies, Care Products, Rosin, Tubes, Strings.
    4. Personal use items: Reeds, Harmonicas, Pitch Pipes, Ear Plugs and In-ear Monitors, Mouthpieces, unless included with instrument.
    5. Parts and modules: All instrument parts including Clarinet Barrels, Guitar Parts, Pickups, Raw Frame Speakers, Expansion Boards, and Sound Cards.

  5. Special Order merchandise.
    1. We will gladly special order any item available to us.
    2. Special orders may be returned within the 14 day return period, but the 25% deposit remains non-refundable.

  6. 48-hour Approval Policy.
    1. Select custom instruments have a 48-hour approval period. Should a return be desired, it must be initiated within 48 hours of receipt. To qualify for a full refund, less cost of shipping both ways, merchandise must be received in our warehouse within 10 days of original receipt. The instrument must be returned in the same condition as it was shipped, with all shipping materials, hangtags, certificates and warranty cards included.


Returning Defective Items

  1. Call us within 30 days for return instructions.
    1. To qualify for return shipping on defective items, you must notify us of any problems within 30 days of receipt.

  2. Restocking Fees.
    1. To avoid restocking fees, please follow all packing instructions listed in the "General Return Instructions" section.
    2. Please be advised that restocking fees may apply if defect is not a result of original manufacturing process.


Returning Items Damaged in Transit

Your order is carefully packed to exceed UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping requirements. If an item arrives damaged:
  1. Call us within 72 hours for return instructions.
    1. To qualify for return shipping, you must notify us of any problems within 72 hours of receipt.
    2. We are available at: 1-888-999-2365. We have a 24 hour voice mail service for your convience.

  2. Repack using all original packing materials and boxes.
    1. Include all original packaging, accessories that were included with instrument (e.g. power adapters, mouthpieces, case, etc.) and paperwork (e.g. owner's manual, warranty card, etc.).
    2. Repack the damaged merchandise, using original boxes and packing materials.
    3. Items missing original packaging, may not qualify for damage protection.

  3. Give package to our shipper.
    1. We will arrange to have UPS or FedEx pickup the item and carefully inspect it for shipping damage, before returning it to us.
    2. Upon receiving the returned merchandise, we will send out a replacement.

  4. Restocking Fees.
    1. To avoid restocking fees, be sure all original contents and packaging are returned.
    2. Please be advised that return and restocking fees may apply if damage is not a result of shipping.


Delivery Refused

If the carrier returns an item because it was refused or undeliverable, a 15% restocking fee will apply.

If the item was shipped for free, outbound shipping fees (and tariffs and duties on international shipments) will also be charged back at the time of return.
